Guest Age & Pet Guidelines

Our lodge features a unique layout designed with adult relaxation in mind. To maintain this serene atmosphere, the space includes delicate traditional features—such as shoji (Japanese paper screens)—which means it isn't always the best fit for small children or four-legged friends.

While we generally do not host young children or pets due to these design considerations, we are happy to discuss exceptions for certain circumstances. Please reach out to us before your stay so we can ensure the lodge is a safe and comfortable match for your group.

Effortless Travel from Tokyo

A short and convenient Hokuriku Shinkansen bullet train ride from Tokyo station to either Nagano station or Joetsu-Myoko station. Myoko Kogen is just over the border in Niigata prefecture from Nagano prefecture.

Approximately 1.5 hours bullet train ride from Tokyo to Nagano station, then 40 minutes by car or local train from Nagano station to Myoko Kogen station. Approximately 1.8 hours bullet train ride from Tokyo to Joetsu-Myoko station, then 25 minutes by car to Myoko Kogen.
